Holden Special Vehicles (HSV) has posted another record individual month of sales, with 432 vehicles delivered to Australian, New Zealand and export markets in September.

The record means HSV has posted individual record results every single month since October 2006.

Managing Director of HSV, Scott Grant, said the result demonstrated the strength of demand across the HSV product range and particularly for the E Series range of ClubSport R8, GTS and Senator Signature models, unveiled in August 2006.

“For HSV to deliver 5462 vehicles over the last 12 months is unprecedented in the 20 year history of the company”, Scott Grant said.

“It is a great tribute to our staff, external suppliers, dealer network, our partnership with Holden - and most importantly our customers – who have all contributed to HSV achieving such a strong result.

“We believe the sales momentum will continue into 2008 from the strength of our existing product and the launch of new models, such as the E Series Maloo R8.”

HSV National Sales Manager Darren Bowler said the result was particularly pleasing in what has been described as a tough selling environment for many Australian manufacturers.

“The HSV Engineering and Design teams have done an outstanding job in producing a range of vehicles our customers just can’t wait to drive,” Darren Bowler said.

“The 20th Anniversary of HSV, which we commemorated in Sydney last week, gives the company a chance to build on the substantial momentum we have achieved over the last 12 months.”
