Time flies!

Incredibly, it has been 15 fast years since the first remarkable HSV motor vehicle hit the streets.

Now, rolling off the Clayton production line is the 40,000th HSV.

The vehicle, appropriately a sting red ClubSport, rolls off the Clayton production line this month.

To celebrate this milestone HSV today announced details of a new national advertising campaign.

The creative for the campaign is built around the theme “Your time has come”.

“We want to tell customers, and potential customers, that we’re celebrating our 40,000th car and that if you’ve ever dreamed of owning an HSV, guess what? Your time has come” enthused HSV General Manager Chris Payne.

“And our HSV Retailers are also celebrating, encouraging test drives and great deals across the entire HSV range.”

The campaign includes:

- Television advertising – all states; - Internet promotion; - Sales promotion on Channel 10 – all states; - Magazine advertising – national; - Press advertising;

“And to show we’re celebrating we’re giving away our 40,000th car”, Payne said.

Channel 10’s ‘Sports Tonight’ program will run a promotion in the week of 13th July, featuring Mark Skaife, with one lucky contestant answering the right HSV/HRT trivia question and winning the car, valued at over $60,000.
