Grey skies and threatening weather wasn’t enough to deter a large crowd descending on Phillip Island this week for the launch of the T2 ride program.

According to the Holden Racing Team’s Todd Kelly if you have ever wanted to experience the ultimate V8 Supercar thrill ride the best way to do it is in the passenger seat with him or brother Rick driving you around one of Australia’s race tracks.

“Holden Special Vehicles new T2 rides program brings together the best of HRT and the Toll HSV Dealer Team”, Todd said.

“And we’re coming to a track near you in our brand new car shortly.”

“This genuine V8 race car is built for speed, with a front and rear passenger seat - the T2 Ride is pure adrenalin.”

In a unique twist, the T2 ride car genuinely caters for Holden Racing Team and Toll HSV Dealer Team fans, with one half of the car receiving the HRT livery while the other half sports the distinct orange, black and white of the Toll Dealer Team.

You can take the ride of your life in T2 Ride, a 600 horsepower V8 Supercar that goes from 0 to 100 kph in 3.6 seconds and can reach speeds of over 250kmh.

“This is one ride you will never forget,” Todd said.

Your T2 Ride experience will consist of;

• 2 laps around the race circuit.

• Comprehensive safety/experience briefing from one of the HRT or THSVDT drivers.

• Wheel change simulator.
