HSV to Release “Grange SV” Limited Edition

Australia’s leading performance car manufacturer, HSV, today announced that it will build a limited edition Grange as a final tribute to the high-performance limousine, production of which will end in October.

For almost 20 years, Grange has been the long-wheel-base flagship of the HSV range and to celebrate both this impending milestone (it turns 20 in September), and the end of the model’s production, HSV will release the limited edition “Grange SV”.

Building on an already impressive list of standard features including its 340kW, LS3 V8 engine, Luxury seats in Onyx leather trim, Magnetic Ride Control suspension and a raft

of driver-focused technologies, Grange SV will also feature 20” SV Rapier Gloss Black forged alloy wheels with black AP Racing forged 4-piston brake calipers, shadow-chrome exhaust tips plus distinctive black accenting on the grille surround, driving light bezels, fender vents, mirror scalps, lower air in-take surround, boot-lid applique’, door mouldings and badges. Unique I.D. and sill plates, and individually numbered build plates, add to the exclusivity.

“We wanted to introduce styling elements that accentuated the vehicle’s street presence and gave it a little more attitude”, said HSV’s Chief Designer, Julian Quincey. “The 20” SV Rapier alloys, the aggressive black calipers and the black accenting really help nail the distinctiveness we were after”, he said.

With Recommended Retail Pricing to remain unchanged at A$86,990, and production to be limited to just 50 vehicles, Grange SV will represent outstanding value.

“For almost 20 years, Grange has stood proudly as Australia’s favourite performance limousine; built to order for a very exclusive customer base. It is a fitting tribute that the last 50 Grange’s ever to be built will carry the exclusive “SV” moniker”, said HSV’s Managing Director, Tim Jackson. “And, for a select few, this will be there last chance to grab a piece of HSV performance history”, he said.

Production of Grange SV will begin in September and HSV report that its dealers have already commenced taking pre-orders.
